Our view is that a true nordic steam sauna is a far superior experience to infrared heat, but find that wood fired saunas can be intimidating for many casual users. That's why we've built a fully electric system that can operate autonomously and precisely, anywhere, so you can focus on the practice of contrast therapy and not the stress of maintaining a fire and guessing on temperature.
This has enabled countless first-time sauna users the chance to explore a traditional steam sauna experience in a very user friendly way using top of the line Finnish heating technology. One press of a button, and in 45 minutes you're ready to go.
Likewise, while many consider cold plunging a bonus activity or add-on, we consider it integral to the experience. Our platform comes standard with an integrated stainless steel cold plunge tub and precision chiller with advanced filtration.

Ice bags optional. Although we recommend 50 degrees as an ideal starting point, our precision chiller will cool into the lower 40s.
Where we Go Barefoot
Our standard service area is a 40 mi radius around Beacon, NY. Delivery is free within 20 miles, and additional mileage is charged a flat $5 per mile.
Special events or collaborations outside of our standard operating radius are assessed on a per-event basis.

Q: Where are you located?
Go Barefoot is based in Beacon, NY. We deliver service within a 40 mile radius. We will be expanding to new areas soon so please let us know if you'd like to host a sauna!
Q: Do I need to know how to build a fire?
No you do not - most of our friends can scarcely light a match. Our system is fully electric and maintains precise temperature on its own. We love camping but want you to focus on the benefits of contrast therapy, not prepare for your next wilderness outing.
Q: How many people will fit in the sauna?
The sauna can comfortably accommodate four people, five if you like it snug, six if you're ambitious. Please no more.
Q: Can I move the sauna?
No, once it is delivered and installed it must remain stationary and is immobilized by locking wheel chocks.
